Not to sound Dumn but Whats the Difference between a 4AGE and a 4AGZE???

Can the 4AGZE Fit in an AE86?

Is the $AGZE just a superCharged 4AGE?

Yes, it will fit.

Almost. The GZE has stronger rods and pistons. And a different intake system. And valve covers.

in a nutshell... the 4AGZE is a small port high comp 4AGE with the internals guttend and changed for strength and lower comp, then the guys at toyota slapped on a supercharger, a new ecu and a top mounted intercooler.

that's only for the late model AE92s and the AE101s

The AW11 and the early AE92s had largeports. And lower compression. And less boost. The AW11 had the IC offset to the side, over the transmission or something too.

keeping the engine stock? are you modifying it? drag or circuit? drifting?

really depnds on what you plan to do with your car.

well, IMO hands down, the ae101 4agze is the best..... in stock trim it had the highest s/c compressionn (8.9:1), highest psi (~10psi), map based, DLI, many trannies came with LSD's, etc.....

me think a 20V BT in stock form will whup a 4AGZE's butt in a long course... but the 4AGZE will whup the 20V in drag...

actually i really doubt that... my smallport ae92 can keep up with most silvertop 20V's... and my ae92 has no chance whatsoever against the mr2..... with a slipping clutch (on a lone freeway) hitting 100mph in the mr2 comes quickly at 34% throttle (according to the tablet) in 5th gear.... faster than the ae92 can in 3rd....

my ae92 is a pretty quick n/a 4age car..... i haven't had another one keep up yet that was lightly modded like mine

The 20V BT is overrated. Toyota outright lied about the power figures. They say 175HP at the crank....pfftt...chya...right.

Really Can't keep the engine stock because most AE86 needs an engine Rebuilt here in Toronto. Honestly would like to really Drift with the car but there isn't any tracks to learn. So I probably just want to have fun and drag plus I love speed. So the AE101 4AGZE is the best engine to drop into the AE86?
