1991 Corolla all-trac wagon...!!!

Hey guys, a buddy of mine came across a CLEAN 1991 Corolla all-trac wagon body...and he has a 20 valve and turbo set-up for it....however i know that it has 50/50 split diff. but is all-time awd....or....is it RWD part time and at the click of the button kicks it into 50/50 split diff. again? We weren't sure how taht worked on those and they are rare and havn't come across many especially in the shape it is in, never raelly making me look into the car at all.... Thanks again guys!

Steve

I'm wondering if i can find one steal the awd drivetrain off it and stuff it in my AE92. Yeah i know a lot of fabrication but thats ok.

unlocked it is variable, locked it is 50/50 that is in the 5 spd... the auto has auto locking. The 20V is a good idea... cause the block is the only 4AGE block that will fit, the turbo is not a good idea, the transaxle unit will not take that much torque. The rear suspension is AE86 4AC type(smaller diff, SR5 type) Cusco makes locking diffs for all three differentials

About fitting into an AE92... as long as you have the donor car it shouldn't be a big problem. The one thing besides the drivetrain that you need are the rear axle/suspension mounts.
