USA 89 corolla DASHBOARD HELP!

[FONT=Book Antiqua]YO[/FONT
I have a 89 corolla sr5 and as with most ppl, my dash has 3 cracks, i have marinas trench, the grand canyon and a little creek on the side, i want to take the dash off and fix it

i was thinking about sanding it all down, putting polyurathane in teh cracks, patch it with come material, sand down again and painting,
my main problem is HOW Do i takethe dash off?

i have a haynes manuel, but it just tells me how to take off the dash cluster not the board, if anyone can help i would be ever so greatful, THANKS

Most likely that wont work. materials have different characteristics, which will mean havoc in different climates.

You can buy vinyl repair kits (colored goo with a mini iron and textured pads), but my adventure along those lines made my dash look worse than just the cracks did. I wonder if something flexible like silicone caulk sealer would work better than a rigid urethane? It wouldn't look like new, and I'm not sure if it would take paint. I also have a cracked plastic bumper cover and tried fixing that with a hot glue gun but it just won't hold. I also tried using filler (Bondo) but as another responder pointed out, in the climate extremes the two materials behave differently and separate.
