no its the new chevy. my neighbor has one and our driveways are practically 'attached'. i parked next to it. oh hell no!! the corolla is bigger , taller, longer. in other words more 'beefer'. it has wayyy more hp. than that chevy. (well i have the xrs)
Joint effort with Daewoo, Just not sure who will get the shaft ?? Probably the poor soles who actually buy one. A friend of mine has 2 Daewoo models, His timing belt snapped shortly passed 60K. None for me thanks.
it's an Aveo. go to your local chevy dealership, i promise they have them in stock.

in other words its crap, chevy doesnt make good cars, go with imports
chevy tends to try to make cars that are sucessful as imports, only cheaper and worse shape, i doubt the aveo would last 100 000km if u tried
coming from one who just sold his Cavalier...though you got probably one of the crappiest year cavvys. i won't get into a debate with you, but i'd have to disagree with your blanket statement. chevy has its ups and downs, JUST LIKE TOYOTA.

If you look at the VIN it starts with a K for Korea. If you were going to buy a car that cheap I would rather get one made in Korea than in the US. Koreans still are trying to prove themselves for manufacturing and try pretty hard when building cars. For a cheap car Aveo's aren't that bad. I've never been in one, but from those pictures the interior looks a lot better than my G/F's cavalier.

I know it is sold at Chevy dealerships, and I know it is a Daewoo with a Chevy badge stamped on the outside, nothing more. It's not a Chevy based on a Daewoo car, it is a Daewoo car. One that looks nothing like a Corolla in person.
i never said it was a chevy based on a daewoo car, i said simply that it's sold at every chevy dealership. especially in the baltimore/dc area...i should know, i have to stare at the damned things everyday.
the only toyota they resemble, and only in hatchback form, is the xA.

That Aveo is UberUgly. The interior looks like they ripped it off some GM car from the late 80's or early 90's. If it was any more bland....well I don't think that's possible.

That car is uninspiring. Now my weekend is shot!!
they look like commuter cars. commuter cars aren't MEANT to be anything but bland...they're just meant to get people from point A to point B in one piece.
