New CE - Bracket broken in wheel well

I just got a `05 Corolla CE. I was looking at the car closely today and found this broken plastic bracket in the passenger side rear wheel well. It is held by 2 Hex head bolts. It is broken in 2 pieces only to be held by a bolt on each piece. Does anyone know what it is for? On this side I don't see any loose wires or tubings but on the driver's side and saw some kind of tubing and cabling being held by a similar bracket.

without a picture i can't really tell you...though, since the car's brand new, i'd take it back and have them tell you.

Here's those pics - better late than never!

I'm well aware of the date this topic was posted guys, apologies for the resurrection; but I think I've got the same problem on my 03 LE. Been scouring the web for a diagram, relevant instructional or even a pic of the new part as I'd like to know how serious this is - zero luck - this thread is the only lead so far.

Looked at another Corolla and there is a cable from the top of that rubber bracket to somewhere behind the wheel (^mine's sheared off^). Took my wheel off and I can't find the other end. The configuration is different on the driver's side tho - there are small diameter metal hoses/lines running down the wheel well and there's a similar elbow-type bracket that protects them; but no cable.

I'm thinking this mystery-passenger-side-only cable might be seat belt related as there's an anchor point around there on the interior side of the wheel well underneath the trim. I don't want to dismantle my back seat to be sure tho (not yet, anyway).

Any help with identifying this part is greatly appreciated in advance. Sending a link to the FSM via PM would be even better!

Thank you for reading.
