AE92 Question

Im looking for lowering springs. Are the later corolla springs compatible with an AE92?
Will a 93 or maybe a 99 corolla spring fit?

peace

word on the street is that the AE101 springs will fit if you convert the strut housings at the same time, other wise you can get intrax or eibach for the AE92

What AE92 do you have?? 2door or 4door?? I got APEX springs on my coupe. You can also get Suspension Techniques, Eibach and I believe there's a couple of other brands that make them for coupes. For sedans I'm not sure.

93 springs have a larger diameter so they wont fit AE92 Struts, however I havent experimented with putting on later model struts with the springs.

The difference is that the lower end of the REAR springs are larger than that of the springs for 89-91 AE92. In other words, 93-97 corolla springs can be fit on 89-91 corolla, except that you should use the rear struts for 93-97 corolla.

In other words, the (springs+struts) supposed for 93-97 are also applicable to 89-91, and they're also applicable to 98-01 corollas.

if you're gonna use springs for the 93-97 corolla, you'd have to change you're rear shocks. pretty much a bolt on affair except that you'd need to zip tie the brake lines (if your rear brakes are drum).
