WTf i got this email from an engine supplier

"The black top, red top, and silver tops only apply to the 20v and the
supercharged models. I only carry the stock Mr2 4age.
"

true?

He's retarded.. the 4AGE came in all flavors.. Red top and blue top were the 16V, the Silvertop and blacktop were for the 20V, and the 4AGZE was red top with either big ports (87-89) or small ports (90-92), there was no blacktop or silvertop 4AGZE's.

did the MR2 ever have the 4AGE

The SW11 MR2's came with both 4AGE and 4AGZE.. but it never came with the 20V's, as they switched over to the 3SGE and 3SGTE for the SW20.

ummm dont you mean the AW11? the SW11 would be S block powered,
