TC looks very Pontiac G6 like from the back. TC has a supercharger while XRS does not so that is bonus for TC. Stock on stock, XRS owns the TC in straight line acceleration and around the race track without a doubt. XRS has more power and weighs approx. 500 lbs less than the TC ( 2670 vs 3120 lbs on TC), which essentially takes out any low end torque advantage TC has. As for handling XRS has a much better road holding than TC despite smaller wheels ( 16 inch rims and 195 vs 17 inch rims 205s on TC). With equal size wheels, I see XRS get close to 0.87 on the skidpad. XRS road holding 0.83 lateral g on a 300 foot skidpad and TC pulls off a 0.81 lateral g on a 300 foot skidpad (Car and driver). You can throw around XRS in the corner and around the road and it will keep composed while TCs heavy weight backfires. TC is a nice sporty torquey car around the city with a good pep while XRS on the other hand is an aggressive, hard edged sport sedan that wakes up when you really mean business otherwise, drives in a quiet and sedated mode.
