Question NA Car Timer

Does it neccessary for a NA car installed with timer?does it need an ECU car or can b install on a carb car.

any recommend on the brand and model of the timer. what should b consider when go for a timer

one things bother me is once i turned off the engine and handle by the timer, is it ok for me to restart to engine during the timer count down time under certain circumstances?will that hurt the engine? or i need to wait for the timer to cut off the engine, only after that i can start the engine.

thanks for the reply 1st yah.cheers.

First do a Search and find out what a timer is for. Normally they're called "Turbo Timer".

and no it wouldnt serve a purpose on naturally aspirated cars... and you dont necessarily need them on turbo cars, its just sort of assists in shutting down the car, because you dont have to idle it.

what awful noise? Then again, it doesnt idle it for only 30secs or a minute or so, just to let the oils and the turbine to cool down a bit.

I'd rather put the turbo without the timer, than the timer without the turbo
