05 Corolla XRS videos!(0-60 in 6.2 secs)

Check out this page. There are two of my videos on the freeway doing from 10 mph - 100 mph and 5 mph to 100 mph. Although, the view is poor since I mounted my camera from my collar. There is another very impressive video by KCRollaXRS doing a 0-60 IN HIS BONE STOCK XRS in just 6.26 seconds. Enjoy!

No the video converted to mp3 format are not the 0-60 video. Those are my random videos that I shot while taking a trip outside the city. Right click on KCRollaXRS in the main post and save the .avi video to your hard drive. It is a video of the XRS guages while he is doing a 0-60 in 6 seconds right before your eyes.

Yeah, 6 seconds flat is what cars with 250 - 270 HP get and this guy is getting it with 170 - 180 HP. Pretty nice stuff. I will be that good with some more pratice.

There is a new video of the XRS going from 80 - 135 mph in the same post. You guys might want to check that out for fun.

Uh you need to factor in a *lot* more than just HP. Weight, drivewheels, tires and gearing for one thing.

Yeah, I totally agree with you. It would be plain dumb to think of just the HP and not factor in the weight difference, gear ratios, differential ratio etc. My point was that Toyota indeed made a really ballsy Corolla that kicks ass in performance (including handling, I have pushed my XRS into a corner at 125 KM/H. All I did was just slightly lift my foot off the gas pedal to engine break in 4th as it understeered a bit. XRS nicely tucked the nose in and corrected the path without any fuss) and above everything it is not a Mazda, Mitsubishi, Honda. It is a TOYOTA!
