Angry 94 Rough Idle in drive

I have changed the fuel filter and the O2 sensor, plus the standard tune up parts. I have found out that it is running rich. Right now the car is drinking gas. I checked to make sure the fuel filter is on tight and not leaking, and it is good. So here is the problem. She is idling rough while in Drive, in park she don't have much of a problem. While sittin at a red light I shift to neutral so she would run somewhat smoother then put it in drive to go. Acceleration is poor if not non-exsistant while it is bogged down. And the car is drinking gas. Normally a tank goes 250 miles, now only 170 that is bad for a 9 gallon tank. The car don't have a ERG valve because of the year made, 94. It has 133000 miles.

Have you checked to see it it has thrown a code? That's always a good place to start.
You may want to check the fuel pressure and also use it to see if you have a leaky injector.

Best of luck,

I would check the fuel injectors and vacuum hoses first, and if these engines have an IAC valve (idle air control), you might want to try to give that a clean or check that unit.
