88 Corolla suspension

Are the 1988 Corolla sedan's front struts serviceable or sealed? How hard is the install to put in new struts, shocks, and springs?

Both front and rear struts of the corolla are serviceable. Go to a local auto shop and ask for shock absorbers for your 88 rolla. A service station should have clamps that hold the springs from jumping out once you get the strut mounting off. Just pull out the old shocks and drop the new one in. Put the springs back but make sure that they are aligned before you seal the top mounting.

I think the north american 4dr models and the SR5's came with sealed struts on the front.. only the GTS came with serviceable struts up front.
