take your governor out? i've hit it 1st, 2nd, and 3rd... but not in 4th or 5th yet.... (and that includes the 110mph in 4th.....)
Its around 170kph actually... well, no it wont scream, cuz it wont go to redline...which is strange... you'll just go ~170 and thats it... so you need to shift to 5th and then you can nail it over 200 if you have a long enough road infront of you
I took my 2002 rolla wagon to 180kph in 3 doing 6000 rpm.....still had another gear to go but not sure if overdrive would have pushed it any further.Pulled quite strong from 160 to 180.......got a bit scary...must have hit the perfect torque/power range.
on older rolla's i was told that the rev limiter holds you back and that there isn't a speed limiter, but i like my drivers lisence so ive never tried going 200km/h. Just what I've heard!!!!!!!!!!!!

2003 Corolla w/auto is speed governed at 112 mph (180 km/h). You'll notice the stock tires (Goodyear Integrity) are 'S' rated ... just happens to correspond with the max speed governor. Hmmm
