USA My Heater!!

I have a 98 Corolla LE that i bought a month ago but when i turn on the heater a noise is made like something is stuck. what do you guys think is wrong. when i turn the fan off it goes off.

it could be something as simple as a stone stuck in the fan??

have you tried taking it out and giving it a good clean?
if that fails.....get a piece of wire and jump the plug on the fan to make sure th fan is operational.

after that im stuck dude.....

im not qute sure myself......but id say if yopu just open the bonnet you will see its fairly handy to get out..i had the same trouble wit a different car i had,was drivin on the beach,and it got cloged up with sand and dirt.
once i took the fan out and gave it a good clean it was as good as new

You'll find the actual blower motor by removing the glove box.. it should be like 3 or 4 screws total.. comes right out and the blower will be right infront of you. It'll be a round box.
