Before you start sweating bullets, this recall is nothing serious at all. I went for an oil change and they told me there is a recall issued for all 05 Corolla XRS regarding the lock nuts for wheels. When Corolla XRS were built, they were fitted with only lug nuts and no lock nuts (lock nuts prevent wheel theft). All of our XRSs have lug nuts on them. Toyota has now issued a recall to fit lock nuts on all wheels for the 05 Corolla XRS ( applies to 16 inch alloy rims only) so go to your local Toyota dealership and have them order you the lock nuts for wheels. THEY ARE FREE! They will order and install them for free so do it as soon as you get time.

Funny. I got mine in May and it had wheel locks on it already.

The factory was supposed to install them - but didn't.
The dealer was supposed to order them and install - but clearly some didn't.

Guess the dealer doesn't like free money to install them. Silly dealer.

do you have a service bulletin number or anything i can use if my dealer doesn't know about this? also, is this effective in the US and Can?

Recall no. 414 should be good for references number ( used in Canada and must be similar in US).
