Does anyone know the actual location of the Alarm ECU unit in the 98-02 generation Corollas ??and also the location of the module that contains the glass breakage sensitivity adjustment ??

The TSB I have shows it under the drivers seat but neither the OP or I can locate the unit, The alarm users guide does not point out the location of either unit.

Thank You,

Craig, the shock sensor is under the driver dash. look from under the dash and you can see it stuck on the firewall. you can adjust it without removing it. Its just above the brake pedal. You find that F$$king alarm ecu yet?

Wait a minute !! I pulled the center console on my 00 and found the shock sensor there, (has the trim-pot adjustment for sensitivity)

Maybe you are seeing the alarm ECU near brake pedal ? I will look at mine today. I did a pretty good search and did not locate the ECU. There could be slight changes from the 2 years ??
