Hey all, just registered here. Picked up my Corolla XRS this week actually. Saw the car in Toronto when I was there for the summer and couldn't wait to trade my Integra in for it. Now the entire family is using Toyota cars, from Echo to Corolla. Just wondering how other XRS owners like the car. After driving around for 3 days, i find that its pretty good bang for the buck in terms of what you get out of it. I can haul ass and still have fun with the 6 speed.

Cheers
Wil

Japan Trd

Hey again , did you or are you interested in getting the TRD Supercharger Package along with it? It supposedly adds 40 HP to it. And should keep it under the warranty. That's what I plan to do when I get my XRS.

What TRD SuperCharger? Last I heard is that TRD only has S/C for 1zz engines...not the 2zz which is in the XRS.

And to add 40HP to an engine with 170HP.....that'd be a real tire ripper!

Japan TRD Again

Are you guys sure about the TRD? Cause I was looking at the TRD site, and it has a list of cars with can be supercharged, I don't remember, but there were like 3 supercharge sizes, and the smallest, the Corolla XRS was listed as compatible. And it says it would approximately add 40 HP.

Japan Ok ok,...

Ok ok, I see my mistake, damn, so are they ever going to make a supercharger that will be compatible with the XRS? If not, does that mean I'll have to get an aftermarket Turbo? Has anyone turboed their XRS? I am a noob, that's why I am asking all these questions.
