hey guys.,.. anyone know what kind of muffler sounds decent on the 86? i just don't want my car to sound too much like a civic. :P is that too much to ask.

My bro has a HKS HI power cat back exhaust system (retail: $300-400). It sounds enhanced compared to the stock exhaust. It sounds decent and isn't extreme like a civic exhaust would sound.

Don't worry.. a 4AGE won't sound like a civic.. I learned that the hard way.

Civic's usually sound winey and high pitched. a 4AGE and probably the FE's too will sound more drowney and low pitched.

i have a Jasmen catback for mine with a slicener on it and its still sounds kinda loud but its sounds like a hound barkin... lol

I have a jic header back exhaust its sooooooooooo loud and sounds like nothing else, even with a stock 4ag.

kool... what about like a Tanabe muffler.. i can get one of those for a good price so i was thinking it should be alright.
