i saw a car interior led kit for a four door, (four different lights) i was gonna hook it up to a rotary switch and put it on one of the empty dash spaces to the left of the steering wheeel does anyone think this would be a sensible buy if am looking for a little style in the interior?
if you do put neon in your car DO NOT have it so u can see the Stick itself looks really dum (my opinion) i had neon in my yota for awhile but i took them out... what i did was have 2 15" sticks and i stuck them under and up in the lower dash just above your feet this way it would just GLOW and thats all you could see

I have on the passenger side. I drilled and mounted it on the bottom of my glove box. Make sure it doesn't hit the back part when you close it though. If you want pictures of it, I'll try and take some of it tomorrow. Driver's side it looks like you have it about as far up as you can. You could try putting it right under your seat. Then you can't see it from any of the seats. Let me know if you want to see some pics.

[QUOTE=Ukrainian102]Yeah, you can see my sticks from the back seat. Looks a bit shitty, I have to try and relocate them to a better place in the spring.
yea the pass side looks great !!! ill see if i still have a picture with my neons

I have it mounted right under the glove box on the pass side, giving it just enough clearance when the glove box opens. When it's closed though you can see both of the tubes from the back seat, only the drivers from the front seats. I tried to tuck the things in somewhere, but it seems theres no space, everything is full of little plastic boxes or some kind of little shits like that. Thanks for the input though.
Edit: By the way people, just a tip: use screws. The little sticky pads will fall off sooner or later.
Yeah, it's hard to find a good spot for them. On the driver's side, I have mine sitting right under my seat. It isn't the best, but it can't be seen from the passenger seat or back seats.

Im gonna try that. Thing is the tubes are only 10" so I don't know how much light I'll get from them. Shoulda gone with a 15" probably. Oh well, I'll try to work with what I have and if what I'll stick with my current setup.
Edit: Also, how did you wire it to under the seat? Is there an easy way, or do you have to go through the whole shifter console, etc. ?
I went up and under the shifter console where i have 2 neons and my CB radio/PA system wired up to a switch. Didn't have to take the console of to get it there though, just took off the shifter, shift boot, and change thing and ran the wire under the console and then up. If you do that make sure the wires don't interfer with the shifter or anything like that.

instead of neons anyone thought of using LED's aren't they easier to mount since they are not a long tube but instead a string of lights. saw one guy aroound here with it in his 94 celica thats where i got the decent idea they seem to hide very well and they are real bright just like neons
LED's are brighter, but the problem is that if you have a row of them, then it's more like little flashlight beams, and there are gaps in between the beams. I had LED underbody neons, and they were a lot brighter than regular neons, but had the beam problem. It doesn't look as good. Might look better in the interior though.

if you get the kit for the XB scion it is a nice four piece kit that uses refracted led's. its about $200 and well worth it. look into it!!!
No, it's not worth $200. I paid roughly $100 for my LED 4 piece underbody kit, and I think that was overpriced. If it's a 4 piece kit for your interior, then $50 is too much.
