hey guys ...you probly get asked thiss alot but i just was wondering if anyone has had 1st hand experience on the difference in performance between the 4agze and the 20valve silvertops??? like if you had a standard gze and a standard 20v would the gze always beet the 20v or is there not that much difference?? if any one could post bak it would be greatly appreciated!! ive been told allot of different stuff and jus wonted to hear it from some 1 who actually noes ......thnx heaps
i doubt that...... my smallport has kept up with a silvertop
even though a gze seems to have power drop off up top because it's so torquey, it still pulls 160-170hp or so...... my aw11 pulls to 100mph and fast (when it runs)

yeh ok thnx for that ay........i get my 20valve on the road next week and my good mate has jus bought a ze to throw in his ae82 so i geuss ill find out for me self soon enough lol, cheers
I have seen that match up man, i'm telling you....of course if that 20v still stock...
even though the 20V is pretty rare around here.... my ae92 sr5 with a smallport 4age in it has taken a silvertop..... my 4agze mr2 would WALK all over my ae92 (and actually it has.... friend driving my ae92 when i was taking the mr2 to the exhaust shop.... horribly tuned, i pulled on my own corolla like it was nothing)
at least around here... a silvertop is lucky to reach much over 130whp..... best i've heard of was 150whp from a blacktop 20V running on a well tuned megasquirt ecu...... i'm hoping to reach 160whp on my 4agze in my aw11 which the motor itself is completely stock...... yes, it's feasible
