Why do you need to know the.. "wattage" for?? I doubt wattage will make a difference.

If your 6cd changer is an OEM changer then chances are only the OEM headunit will control it. If you buy whatever brand of headunit, you can only use their own brand of cd changer with that specific unit. However you can buy add-on CD changers that come with FM-modulators which transmit the signal from the changer to a certain radio station, and you just turn your radio to that station to hear it.

Your CD changer is INSIDE your head unit, not other head unit will "support" it. I agree with the other poster about the power handling question.

The speakers are not rated for all that much wattage, I would guess 15-25 watts it will be stamped on the speakers which are rivoted in place.

17.5W for the 6 X 9's.

Now, are the front speakers 6 1/2 in?

Anybody tried to replace them?

I have a 05 CE, and I am wondering if the pre-wiring is installed for the tweeters in the front doors?

Yes. Toyota sells an OEM 10" Kicker sub with amp for use with their headunit. It's pretty good considering it tucks neatly out of the way. Check out my signature for some pics.

When are they going to bring the 6 CD Changer on the XRS for Canada??? I so much wanted that when I got my XRS. They export XRSs with 6 CD Changer to the US as an option, but the XRSs in Canada do not get the option. Although, Matrix XRS has it available as an option. I cannot understand the reason behind this foolishness. Toyota can be a weirdo sometimes.
