and if you wanna try to pick a fight about this and say it isn't possible.... my sr5 only needs rear disc brakes (can get at a junkyard easily), the rear dash w/o 3rd brake light (same), seats (i like mine better), and the rear spoiler with 3rd brake light (have the entire GTS trunk with spoiler on the side of my house)..... everything else is GTS... it is possible

well if those are toyota mesh wheels, then they're 13"s and won't fit.... i have them on my ae92 as we speak and they don't fit an mr2 with similar to gts brakes.....(which also required 14" wheels).... the vin doesn't say if it's a gts or not, though... maybe if you gave the vin to toyota and had them tell you
and for some reason you have a non GTS radiator... that looks more like an ae82 radiator than even an ae92 with a 4afe....
yes, that is a smallport if you hadn't read all of my random thoughts above (yeah, many posts)..... but its strange that it's using a bigport dizzy... they aren't the same and wouldn't work with a smallport ecu..... which tells me that you're using a bigport ecu.... and obviously not running TVIS, so the ecu is a bit confused..... and you could run the chance of running lean if you're not using the smallport (greentop) injectors or larger... those don't work with the bigport ecu either because the ohms aren't correct... and you will ruin the injectors
but to ME, it just doesn't add up.... why remove the oil cooler? why use a goofy radiator and radiator hose setup? has aftermarket exhaust.... that's NEEDED for a 4afe to 4age swap (i know), though that isn't a very good point to make.....
at the very least, they did a quick job and you're running a smallport on the bigport electronics... it's quite common in the MR2 world and there are ways to do it....

the only letters in the vin are the JTAE in the beginning... rest are numbers.... first letter shows were it was made (J means japan... C would be Canada... etc)... T, not sure... AE obvously A series engine, E means corolla....

toyotaspeed90 u said the vin doesnt tell u if its a GT-S??? have u ever looked at the Corolla Master post?? theres VIN break down in there and if u have a look inside there it tells u that 7th Revision Number 2 = FX, DX
3 = LE, LS
5 = SR5
8 = GTS
and iv check with my VIN and everythin matched up the right way and everything thx u very much and have a nice day
no, i generally don't check those...... there's tons of misinformation on the web about that sort of stuff and sometimes its hard to tell if it's accurate or not......

yup, this is how i checked... and yes mine is a GTS
Mine is a GTS.. I got 13inch Tercel steelies on it for winter.. his car is an 88, mine is an 89.. the 88-89 GTS's came with rear discs and 13's fit. The 90 models however came with bigger front discs, therefore the 13inch wheels would not fit on that particular car.. for someone who knows a lot about AE92s, you somehow missed this bit.
As for the pictures I posted, I was trying to compare bluetops to redtops, etc... without looking at the car they were in.

i know the brake size changed between the 89 and 90...... i've always heard that 13"s don't fit on any ae92 gts...... not like i actually know, i don't own one
however, it's still faster than all i've encountered
