I have an 86 sr5 and I want to put a 3tc in it. Any one recommend what bolt ons for more power without going into the engine? I wanna try these first and see if it'll be enough. Thanks to all who reply.

Reason: More information in title
I hear that Mikunis are hard to keep sychronized, what about webers or a holly downdraft. Have any sources for me to look up? I already have an 82 rolla donor car, the engine runs great and it has a new carb, idles smooth, just bought it about a month ago, What headers are good? I hear that Pacesetters are ok and would do the job fine, if I have to spend a little more to get better hp figures then I just may do that. What hp gain can I expect? Thanks
RollaAce? i have set of 2 x 40 webers on mine with header from BRDracing.com. you might want to check out his site, he has a lot of go fast goodeis for 2TC and 3TC. i got my 2-piece timing cover from him and it rocks!
but other than that, i suggest ignition upgrade, header, side-drafts or a holley set-up (brdracing has these setups), electric fan for cooling, and maybe a cam if your looking for some modest gains, but the carbs and header alone will do signifigant wonders on that engine
you just simply can't "acquire" them. you have to search and look for 'em. that's the real beauty of old school. if you want a part overnight, go get a honda! hehehehe
seriously, toysport has 'em. a few of my friends have 'em. i don't know if they're gonna sell it though.

All of u have given me good leads/ideas, I wanna keep it simple for now with a carb setup, who knows I might go all out later on. A good friend of mine suggests strokin the engine with a 2tc crank-rods and cam all the while using 3tc block and manifold with a holley 4bbl (about a 390 cfm). Blueprint and balance, shave the head just a little ( .010 - .020), don't remember what type of pistons, he tells me that if the engine is done like this it'll probably have 250 hp at the wheels. But when he told me that it'll probably cost all of $2500 to do it, that's when I decided to do bolt ons first and see how I like it. I'm thinkin' Pacesetter headers and bigger carb(s) without havin' to change the cam.
