Never heard of that brand and it seems extremely cheap.

But it looks like an SRI. You can gain some horse power but its very minimal. 5-10.

you will gain 5hp the most.. you're really only looking at maybe 3hp.. its a corolla dude.. you'll need a lot more than just an intake or a filter to gain 10hp.

It is a short ram intake, and yes you can install it by yourself very easily. It will not help much, if at all. Because instead of the cold air that the stock filter was getting, you will be getting hot air from around the engine. Makes a cool sound though. If you don't have any other mods, probably only will get 0-3hp. If you want an SRI, buy that and then buy a K&N cone filter and stick it on there.

your first clue that its only a metal tube and not a majic pipe should be this...

I'd say it be an excelent investment if you throw away the filter and stick a K&N filter on there.

with that cheap filter, probably 0-2 hp literally
u wont feel a difference, u'll only hear a difference making you think there is a difference, but in reality, there was next to no difference.
do you understand all the differences?

but really, get that and put a K&N filter then u'll gain a little difference, a very little difference, but better than no difference

you wont get 10hp with a change of an airfilter. and 10hp isnt much really. And it wont matter if you have a k&N there or something else. The stock paper filter will actually flow enough when its not clogged... I consider airfilter mod a cosmetic mod.

just use a free-flowing drop-in filter and leave the stock piping since it sucks air from the rear of your clearance light, which is by the way a much colder air compared to a short ram which sucks air from the engine bay. this should give youj more flow but i really doubt it that you will get 7-10 HP increase with just dropping in an aftermarket intake.

try knfilters.com it should give you the info you want. almost all car shops that sell aftermarket performance products should have them on display and you can have them demo you a unit for your satisfaction.

Cool

Anyone else never seen a 5hp intake of a N/A 4c engine?

What about intake and exhaust? Who else has never seen a 10hp gain with a cat-back and intake?
