if i could stik an engine that'll boost up horse power like 50-100 which one would you guys recommend. i got about 1500$ to spend. gimme sum suggestions. THANKS
True but wouldn't you agree that odds and ends, gaskets and seals, labor, trouble shooting and tunning is gonna ad another heafty chunk to that if not double it assuming he doesn't have the facilitys and tools, not to mention the know how, to pull off a job like this himself.

Naah, gaskets dont cost alot, pretty much like 50bucks for all, you wont even have to take off the head to do it. You can put the pistons in from below.
Maybe have a friend / etc to make the flanges and weld the manifold from the materials, not a big job really. Mild steal galvanized pipe isnt expensive either
Flashmn.... the Labor and tuning will jack that price up, that's what Bluemeanie was talking about. Labor for putting a turbo in and tuning it is a lot.

yeah well... that was the parts.. an engineswap would have the same amount of tuning needed. but thats really the only way to get the 50-100hp reliably out of the engine.
HAHA, I know how you feel.... I wish I had had some first hand experience watching/helping someone else install a turbo kit. You never know what next summer will bring.

you could do a 4AGZE swap like one of our members did on his AE101.. or you could turbocharge your 7AFE motor like another one of our members did... but not for $1500.. $2500-3000 would be a better start.
