try TRD. they have the organic unit for street use, they also have semi-racing as well as full-race applications.

i definitely agree. but for your reference, here is the part number for the TRD semi-racing clutch:

00643-31200-021

that's about $520 for the whole assembly.

I know I can bolt on a 87 mr2 flywheel on my 88 rolla, but will I have any clearance problems with the starter?

actually if you have a 4afe you CAN'T bolt an mr2 flywheel to your motor...... 4afe has 6 bolt pattern, 4age has 8..... however, the mounting on the flywheel for the pressure plate and the clutch diamter is the same.... btw, an 87 has the 212mm flywheel, which won't work for you... you need a 200mm, so 86 and earlier

Either of them costs much less than TRD.
You'll probably save yourself about $150-200.

I had a Centerforce Dual Friction in my 89 V6 5-speed Camry.

Mine only ran $240 shipped from Toysport.
I got my throw-out bearing from Toyota.

I have a Clutchmasters Stage 3 kit & flywheel once I'm done with the car.

Unless your 4A-F is making big power, it wont be that much worse just using the 4A-F clutch set... I mean the stock clutch would hold atleast 170hp without problems.

driving around the city would be a bitch with a racing clutch on...

save yourself the headache and stick with the stock unit. use the money for suspension or engine parts
