1998 Trim Level Question

Hello all,

I am anticipating purchasing a 1998 Corolla, and was wondering if any individuals who know about the 1998 Corolla trim level differences could list them? I have gathered a lot of info, but from almost exclusively US sites, so it doesn't really help when I'm looking at the Canadian market. I know the differences are subtle, but I just want to know what to expect when I buy.

Ok here is a more specific question:

What year's did the front bumper with the slots for the fog lights start being produced? I know the 1998's had the bumper without the spots for fog lights - what about 1999 and up?

VE value edition? I believe 3 speed auto or 5 speed manual not too sure?
CE ?? some power options, perhaps with 4 speed auto w/ overdrive (or even perhaps with 3 speed auto) or 5 speed manual, a/c???
LE Luxary edition 5 speed manual or 4pseed auto w/ overdrive ?? power windows perhaps, power door locks, cruise, a/c ??

really depends on the car itself and the previous owners options.

mine is an 01-02

98-00 design was basically the same

01-02 was when it had a face lift

they are available on teh 01-02 LE's and S possibly :S

not too sure about the 98-00's
