Nick,

About that block you sold me. I was thinking about dropping my head on it, in stead of the crap I have to go through to get that pump off. Is that ok, I mean is the block good enough to do that with? Does it run good? About how many Km does it have on it?

i wouldn't do anything with that block until its been to a machine shop. get the cylinder walls checked (4 definitely needs a hone) as they might need deglazing, honing or even boring. The deck prolly should be shaved also.

Nothing wrongs with the block...as far as i know...i checked the clearences with a feeler gauge and everything seems normal, but these are just SOP that you should do when re-assembling a motor.
