U can get those scuff marks w/ some paint thinner but the real dark spots have to be painted. Is that the only area? U can either spot it in, meaning using a big enough are if the damage isn't too big and just paint that portion. Or have the whole bumper sanded and 2 staged. 2 staged, 1 base coat and 1 clear coat.

at most 50 bucks to buff it out

no repair is needed just wax and elbow grease, professional shops can do it too.

Yeah, the really dark spots are paint chips. Mom wants to go to the dealership because she doesn't trust other shops so I guess I'll see how it goes .

Los Angeles around Monterey Park.

Dealer wants $600 to sand the entire thing and paint so we decided to just get a few bottles of touch-up paint .

FUCK ME. Shit i'll do for u for less. It may be a little too big for touch up. My dad paints cars and does body work and i don't even think he does it for that much. If u can find descent body shop, u can sand it yourself w/ 300 grit paper or scotch pad(it's like a burgundy color) and it'll take the finish off. U can get paint at a local paint store(for cars) for cheap. If u do get the color code off the car and give them the info. and u should only use about a pint, get Omni. i'll finish the rest of this later i gotta go home.
