Conducting Brake tests..

Hi dudes..

Can any of you guys tell the procedure to conduct tests on Breaks..


I need to press breaks hard to stop my car.. Dont no what went wrong.. Is that the prob with break oil loss or with the cylinder.. ???

Hard to stomp on the pedal? I would suspect vacuum assist has broken. Check the system if you have vacuum leaks. I would also suspect the pads--if they're worn the car could be hard to stop too. Are the fluid levels correct?

Did you change the pads recently or do anythign weith the brake system? Check teh fluids, if low fill. If still have to slam the pedal, you will need to bleed the system if you opened any part of the system during a brake change.
