Just wondering if anyone has done the kehin fcr motorcycle carbs on their 4ag. I picked up a set of 41mm's and i can't find any settings anywhere. i don't want to try to start the motor till i can find some baseline settings. Has anyone got a base line setup so the eng will even idel properly?

I had 36mm keihin CVK's on my 4A-F. the 41mm ones would be too big as far is I would figure out, the bikes flow alot more through those than a 4A-GE would.
Baseline, I remember I had 35idle jet, 160main jet, stock needle. But tuning those bike carbs is a PITA, I could never get it to pass emissions.

Pic without the filtersocks.

I just remembered that I have an extra set of carbs for my bike and I'll be damned they're Keihin. Don't know the size but I do know that they've been rejetted and polished . Who makes the kit to fit the 3tc or 4ac engine?

Hee hee, if they can't be made to work we can always sell them to someone who wants to try.

well.. it would, but the slide helps a bit, it restricts the venturi. But too big is always bad, the intake air flow would slow down = not good.
