4AGE & 4AC thermostat housing compatibility

i broke the one in my ae86 while installing a new thermostat (it wasnt sitting right and it created a gap and I tightened the bolt and snap) i think its all one peice, it bolts onto the block and i was wondering if anyone has it for a bluetop in TO, and if not will one from a 4ac '88 fit? thanks.

If you've got a FWD 4A-C one, it fits great. It also has the opening so that you can install the temp switch for an electric fan. If you go that route, you've got to get the gasket for the 4A-C as well.

but wouldn't 88 be 4A-F? they don't work.

I don't know about FWD 4AC, but FWD 4afe/7afe ain't going to fit (bizzare angle)

AE92 with 4age bigports will work, their inlet/T-stat housing has the fan switch and so you can upgrade to electric fan (this is what i'm using to run my e-fan). BUT AE92 with smallport 4age, not going to work, their housing will interfere with our RWD alternator
