Rim question

I want to know if it is possible to fit 19 x 8 on a 2004 toyota corolla with a stock ride height. I don't care how the ride will be or how much power I might be losing. I just want to know if the rim will fit without rubbing and tearing anything up. If it will fit then what size tire should I get and the offset I should look for. I plan to get some carbon fiber flares for the car also. The reason I ask this is because the rim I want only comes in this size and is offered with the bolt pattern that will fit on the corolla. Let me know if anyone has any incite to this. If anyone has one with this size already if you could provide pictures I would appreciate it greatly.
Thank you
Brett

I doubt that they will fit in the back without rubbing. I have 17 X 7 on my 2003 Corolla and it rubs in the back.

i've seen people with 19 inch wheels on the rolla, but i don't remember the width. try 9thgencorolla.com and 2003corolla.org. A couple of people have 19" wheels there

in general a 19x8 will fit, but you have to look at the offset. Thats a huge factor in rubbing issues. The tires should be sized properly to give you the same overall diameter, just with more wheel than tire. THEY WILL FIT, but a bad offset will rub.

I'm actually in the process of buying used Matrix rims for my 04 rolla.
Going to try them on on Thursday. The bolt pattern is the same but you are going to have to buy low profile tires. Was going to get wheels w/it too but they were too high. I'll keep you posted in the next couple of days on how it goes.
