Help needed on low speed vibriation

Hi,
I have a 2000 corolla, it has 75K. It vibriates at 15-25 mile/hr. On high speed and all other speed, it is fine. I just had Pepboys do the 4-wheel alignment and 4-wheel balancing. The problem is still there. Please tell me what shall I do?

How old are the tires?

Sounds like you may have a warped tire. Drive you car slowly and have someone actually look at the tire. You may notice a wobble if the tire is warped. It has happened to me and it is not odd. Good luck

Bring it back to them and tell them about it. They should be able to fix it themselves. What did it say on the alignment sheet they gave you? (they should give you a copy) Did this occur even before the alignment? If not then they might have done something wrong or overlooked something.

You never said if when you went to pep boys if with the service they did they rotated your tires also? if they did which is usually front to back and the problem was still there its highly unlikely that you would have two cupped tires on your car at the same time plus it sort of rules an out of balance tire out, but anything is possible i guess....Plus you never said which side the vibration was coming from..Pep Boys seems more reliable then a high school kid in a service station doing the aliagnment still your print out(pep boys I'm sure does this) should tell you the whole story of how bad it was and how it is now set to correct spec's...if you know which side the vibration is on jack that side up and put your hands on both sides of the wheel and try to see if there is any play in your wheel...your wheel should stay solid and not move side to side any, if there is play then it might be a worn tie rod end...one other thing is if you have ABS and have been having problems with it just might been the front wheel bearing, it happened to a friend of mine and made the car vibrate at certain speeds but wasn't that bad yet to make a bearing grinding sound sound but enough to throw his ABS off and make the light come on...good luck, keep us posted....Radd-Guy

A mechanic friend of mine told me today that it might also be a loose/bad front strut...Radd-Guy
