I find that when ever I drive my GT-S ricers will turn their heads to see what car is making all that noise. Then they always get this look on their face that seems to say wtf is that car and should I fear it? And then followed by a look that sais I don't know but that car sounds mean.
It's fun driving a car that people in general don't even know exists. When ever I tell some one I have a Corolla GT-S the only thing that comes to mind is that sweet 4x4 Corolla.
I know exactly what you mean man! It's funny when you see the reaction on peoples faces when you tell them you drive a two door Corolla! (I don't know they made a coupe corolla!!!!).
That's other than the people that walk up to me and ask me what kind of car this is! Since I don't have any badges on the car.
But I agree with you, I like how my car is mystery sometimes.

whenever i mention 2-door corolla, my friends laugh and thought i was joking, then i said i'm serious and they just say: "...oh.." and look like a retard
i got insulted last week somebody told me i had a nice prelude?!?!?! hey you stupid piece of s*** does it says prelude on the side of the car ...no it says
corolla SR5 !!! f**k
Well, generally "normal" people would recognize it.
Speaking of hondas, my parents dislike hondas, lol, they said the people who drive them are immature. Well I gotta say, that most honda drivers I've met ARE immature ;P as they cant admit that their cars are slow. And no wonder they cant recognize a toyota, cuz they live in their close honda world. No offence to you shaun, I'm sure you are different from the majority.
Hehehe.... That's EXACTLY what my dad said a little while back... Actually, it was more along the lines of "Civic drivers are a$$holes", but in Chinese. I don't think I've ever laughed so hard at something he said. It amused me. :smile:
My mom asked me, why do all the civics I see have golden emblems on the back and stupid looking bodykits. I said "well it has something to do with the fact that those bodykits give you the downforce of an F1 and the emblems give you 50hp each" hahaha ;
LOL! Kinda reminds me about a chat I had with a ricer the other day. This Honda Civic Hatchback pulls up and I just start laughing at it. Then a Mustang with the guys friend in it pulls up as well. The Mustang driver walks into the store that I was in so I ask him something right off the bat. What are the 2 spoilers for. He sais for down force. I'm like now thats what the first one might do but what the hell is the second one for. He tried to make up excuses but in the end he admited it did nothing. Then the funny part was that it turned out that the Mustang driver was the ex-owner of the Civic. LOL! I guess he bought the Mustang cuz he was sick of driving a car that loks fast but moves slow.
HAHAH!
Thats funny man! Heh, if I was the mustang guy, I'd just say "its for looks" I mean who are you gonna impress with a cheap "story" on what its supposed to do if the other guy is a car-enthusiast anyhow. Its like I as a student pilot would go and talk out of my ass to a F18 pilot ;P
Sometimes, I like my friends to drive my car and I sit shotgun...I like it cause it lets me look around at all the people turning their heads..hahaha. And at the lights, even when a done up car pulls up beside me, I look over, and they don't.... intimidated? Maybe so....
