Exclamation header panel crack repair

There's been a tiny crack through the middle of the lowermost bar of my header panel. Any suggestions on how to fix this or whether it is even urgent to fix it? Is there even a way to repair this without replacing the entire header panel? Any help is appreciated!!!!!

is there noise being produced because of the crack? also check for exhaust gases going thru that crack. it shoudl be easy to fix, take it to a muffler shop and have them weld the crack.

If you mean the 'heat shield' over the header, it doesn't matter.

in response to ppw-546, there's no noise and nothing that seems apparently wrong. i'm just concerned if there's something i'm not seeing or hearing that's going on. thanks for the muffler shop tip!

as long as you are not losing power or there are no exhaust gases channeling through the crack, it should be fine. but take it to the muffler shop to prevent the crack from being worse.

ok this morning i discovered oil leaking from underneath once i started the car. i don't know whether that has to do with the panel i previously mentioned. i did scrape the bottom of the car in the process of hitting something though (which was how i got the crack in the first place)
