2.2L AE82 : Fuel system

Hello all. I am part of a project involving the fitment of a 5S-FE into an 88 Corolla FX. The 4A-C has been removed and the 5S-FE is now sitting happily in the engine bay. We are now down to wiring, and fuel.

The wiring will be the easy part as I have done an engine swap before involving a Celica and an Avalon engine. The fuel system is the trouble.

We are building this car as a budget race car. We have about $300 left in the budget. What do people do with these cars when they convert them over to fuel injection? I figured we have one of two options:

1) Swap in a tank, pump, and lines from an FX16 GT-S
2) Install an external fuel pump, and custom return lines.

(1) will be easier, obviously, but I am not so sure about finding the parts for cheap. Does anyone have any relevant information they can provide?

Thanks in advance,

I wouldn't worry about the tank.. unless the pump won't fit in it.. I would concern more about the pump and the fuel lines. If the budget is a problem.. look at the junkyards for a wrecked FX-16 GTS or even a Corolla GTS(which will be easier to find than an FX-16 GTS) and see how much you can swap from those cars' fuel systems.
