Hi guys, i need your opinion. I'm from St. petersburg, FL and am buying my first car, a toyota corolla LE 2005 in a week. The only option i had is the audi package (worth 200) and floor mats (140). I went to 4 dealers and got price range between 17 -18K out of the door (taxes, title, tags, included). I opted for a 0% for 60 months instead of the 500 rebate. Is 17,000 a good deal to get this card? I've seen somewhere in the post that some people are paying 14-16K, dont know if taxes and tags included.
0% (first time I heard a Toyota going for 0% and furthermore on a 60 whopping months plan) on 60 months and 17K for an LE (is the audio upgrade included??). Make sure the floor mats are all seasons since they come standard with a set of mats with Corolla engraved on it (Corolla S in the case of S and they put the S mats on the XRS as well ) LE comes standard with a lot of equipment. It sounds like a great deal. I say go for it.

2.9% is still quite good especially for 60 months. Usually they float in the 3.1 - 4.0% for 48 months and it goes higher as the months go up. I guess it is a great deal for an LE. Go for it!

Oh yeah, since you will get alloy rims with the LE. Make sure they have lock nuts installed and not lug nuts. It is for added protection against wheel theft.

Are you sure alloy rims are a standard feature on the LE? The toyota website states that they are a $499 option and the locking lugs are $49. They weren't standard on my S, I had to buy the sports pkg..moonroof, spoiler...etc. to get mine...Radd Guy...

I live in Ohio and when I bought my Rolla S they had whats called a sports package plus, larger tires(195-65-15) on alloys and a spoiler...$725. I made a mistake in my last thread by saying that the moonroof was included in the sports package, looking at my window sticker I paid $650 for my moonroof and night inner mirror...I paid $150 for my criuse control because I opted to just keep the stock radio as I got a x-mas gift of a top of the line alpine system...but I know that the alloy rims didn't come standard here in Ohio(at least to me) because I see a people driving around with a bare bone Rolla S with hub caps and 185-65-15 tires(really looks stupid JMHO).... but I think were getting off this thread subject..I think thats a good deal paulafilipina got on the 05-LE she/he bought.....Radd Guy.....

Yeah, in the US you have a base model Corolla S with steel rims, 4 speaker stereo system and then you can add spoiler, power windows, alloys etc. as part of the sport package while I remember when I got my S, it came standard with alloy rims, 6 speaker stereo system, spoiler, bodykit etc. and the sport package included moonroof, ABS, cruise, power windows etc. I guess they have different setups for the two markets.

silver04rolla you seem like a cool guy, just for the fun of it lets see what price we both paid...maybe in Canada they add all these features as standard but just maybe the base price is more...I paid $18,700 USD out the door and have every feature except ABS and a security system plus I just went with just the stock radio...my car was made in Cal...MSRP $15,315....Radd Guy....
Thanks, Raddman. Was your's auto?? Mine was 4 speed auto and ABS and security system/remote start was included and I had all the options including moonroof, 6 speaker stereo premium system, power everything and after taxes the price was $24,400 Canadian. Both my S and my present XRS (all XRSs as well) were built in Cambridge Ontario. Although, I believe I did not try to talk them down, which was a mistake. I probably could have talked them down like I did when I got my XRS.
