is it a matter of unscrewing the bolts with a wrench and putting the bar on then retighening them?
Yes, exactly. It is simple to install. Definately worth $22, that's not much cash at all. There are lots of arguments about this, but IMO it doesn't matter whether you get a cheap ebay bar, or a TRD bar. As long as the material it is made out of is strong, then it doesn't matter.
Plus it makes your engine look cooler

Its not how fast your car goes...its how much nerve the driver has to push it that fast.
The cheap ones from ebay are just as good as the $150 ones as long as your not out there doing autocross for money. If thats the case you might want to dish out some cash for the TRD one. Im running the Megan Racing strut bar and have NO complaints.
I dont really remember... I think it was a 12mm, but dont kill me if im wrong. If you really MUST know I can go out to my car and check for you.
also, you will need a set of allen wrenches if its the same model as the one I got (to tighten up the strut bar after you make the length adjustments). Its a simple install man, dont sweat it.
i just ordered the strut bar so it'll be coming in a few days... now, for those of you who have strut bars on your 03+ corollas... do you need any other bars like the rear strut/sway, etc. because I was just planning to have the front strut tower bar itself?
also, how much of a difference do you guys realize or feel when having the strut bar installed? I mean I think you would feel a difference especially with cars slammed to the ground, but I just have a ~1" drop with the Eibach pro-kit.
