anyone got any ideas what it could be????

Thats when you should of called the towtruck.
That engine is most likely toast... didnt the oil light come on at any point? if it did, just blame your stupidity for not heeding to it and pulling over
hlo again. ive included a picture and i have circled the place wer the pipe is but it isnt the original picture. ive took a picture of it on my car but cant seem to put it on comp. neway this is a diferent cars engine but is very similiar.
No, all the oil wouldnt come out, unless you're breather system was totally clogged or you had blown pistons/pistonrings so that it would have tremendous blowby.
thanks for all the replies guys. ive give it to a mechanic 9.30 in mornin bout 3 hours ago. he sed com back at half 1 bout 1 hour now, so well see then.
thanks
right then. went to mechanic and he sed one of the pistons on the left of the engine has gone. i asked how much to fix it and he sed there was no point. just get a second had engine and replace it.
so now im looking for another engine.
