USA Seatbelt problems

Ok I have a problem with my seatbelt for some reason it will lock up whenever I am driving, it was not because I was presing the brake cause I checked that, it's a 96' Toyota Corolla any help would be greatly appreciated

i don't think so ltg seat belt...I think all seat belt does that, locks on you....

all seatbelts do that.. its a feature so that you don't go flying into the steering wheel at 100mph.

Damn, I had the same problem near the end with my 96... And yes, obviously the purpose of a seatbelt is to lock up and keep you there when needed. But mine just locked up completely no matter what the car was doing. I had the shop order the part for me, but soon afterward that car was savagely crashed-into, so i never figured out what the problem was. But my new one works like... well, new.
