my 5000mi XRS observations

after about 5000 miles i managed to be A LOT better with the clutch. i've finally started to have the lift kick in and it really feels and sounds awesome. i've also noticed that double-clutching to a lower gear feels a lot smoother than just dropping a gear. but i've also noticed other things too. i've test drove the regular corolla S and maybe it's just me but i've noticed that the 1ZZFE feels more smoother in the lower revs and sounds somewhat better and quieter. the 2ZZ engines seems to sound more buzzier when your just driving normaly but i love that high rpm engine note. other observations i've noticed is that after about 5000rpm the engine note deepens and starts rev more faster too.

Shifting seemed to get a lot smoother at the 5k point for me. The car is still great imo.
