Custom Visor for 97 Corolla.

Greetings everyone. I am not a regular poster at the forums, but i regularly browse this place.
A couple of months ago, I installed an audio/video unit in my car. I installed the AV box under the passenger seat of my car. The AV box gives me the ability to add upto two more devices through its AV inputs. This was perfect for me, because i did not need an FM transmitter to listen to much of my stuff that is on the Creative Zen Jukebox i bought. However, i hate to keep it on a car seat. I thought running a cable through my driver side A-pillar and upto the Visor where i would have the Device. For anyone who owns a 97 Corolla you must have noticed that the Visors are not the best in the world. I decided to make my own or take some better ones out of another car and modify them. Here is my question.
If i was to make my own, what would be the best way to make them? Should they be made of plastic? Or wood? Or would it be better for me to go to the junkyard and get visors from another car?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
