In just the past week I've ordered a TRD quickshifter, Altezza lights for the back, and clear corner lights for the front. Not to mention a sweet tach guage for the dash. I'm looking into lowering springs next and a set a wheels. I'll also be installing a short ram intake. I've read that using bed liner spray will help insulate the pipe. Anyone have any other suggestions for insulation?
I have a 2002 Corolla S. I'll get some pics up soon, and definitely after the mods are finished.

good upgrades. as for the altezzas, if you like them, that's all that matters. don't return them bec some people told you to. alot of people here don't like them, but imo, it's your car...you're the one decides what goes on it

"Quickshifter" is the part name for TRD's shortshifter. I saw one guy's website where he bought the whole tower and short shifter. It costs like $100 more, and it's basically replacing the same parts that you have, in addition to the shifter. All you need is the shifter itself. If I'm wrong, someone please explain... I just bought the shifter itself.
I bought the Altezzas because my car is a darker blue (indigo ink pearl) and I like the idea of the chrome lights setting off the color of the car. I think the stock lights (dark red) kind of clash with the blue. I'm going for the blue/chrome look. I'll definitely post pics at the end of the week when I get everything installed.

Actually the TRD shifter bracket is different from the stock part. The TRD shifter rod is prety much the same length as the stocjk one, but the pivot point is moved upwards to make the throw shorter. The TRD bracket is a bit taller to accomodate the higher pivot point. It also comes with alluminum bracket bushings to replace the stock ones which have a rubber vibration dampener. I reccomend buying the whole TRD Quickshifter package, it's about $150.00
Also the speed-source brass shifter bushings (to repalce the rubber centered ones on the tranny end of the shift cables) are a good mod to go along with this. I have that set-up and it's alot more solid than the stock mushy-action.

Hi Chris, do you happen to have a picture of the trd quickshifter? Thanks man...
Thanks for the advice Chris. I did some searching and found the whole quickshifter package for $123.00 minus shipping. I found it at toyotaoforangeparts.com
