The injectors go into the head... there's nothing really to line up so long as you use the proper fuel rail, which will have to be the 4AG's. Umm, the only problem I see is the lack of a proper headgasket. The 5A is bored smaller than the 4A... and also flows coolant differently.

Just swap the whole 4A-GE. Easier and more power. Don't think the 5A block is as strong.

the 5A was something that ive seen regarding the HKS stroker kit made in the late 80's the other way i know of doing this is to do a 7A-GE basically 7A (1.8L) bottom end with a GE head off a 4A-GE if you search 7A-GE you'll find more information

There is an actual Toyota 5AFE which is basically the low-end model engine. It's a 1.5 liter under-bored version of the 4AFE...

HKS built a stroker kit and gace it the unoffical name of the 5A.
This was out to almost 1800cc.

Years later toyota built a 1500cc A series engine and happened to call it a 5A-FE.

The two are not the same and do not share any parts.

What you want to build would be th 7AGE as stated above.
