TRD Quick Shifter....How?

Hi guys, I am new here and this is actually my first post....

A guy is selling me a quick shifter for my AE101. According to him, it is a TRD quick shifter which was bought by his friend in Japan, my problem is that I don't know if it is really a trd or not. So here are my questions:

1. Does the trd quick shifter has a part number on it?
2 Does it have a "TRD" written somewhere considering that it does not have a shift knob with it?
3. It looks very similar to my stock shifter, any distinguishing fact/signs to really know it's TRD?

I did a search on Yahoo for my quickshifter. In all of the parts pictures I've seen of the TRD quickshifter, it comes with the TRD shift knob. Try doing a search for the quickshifter and year of your car. I did a search as "02 Corolla quickshifter". I can't tell you how many websites came up with the TRD quickshifter part. And it wasn't only for my car, there are others available also for different models.

I already tried searching on the web about the shifter and yeah you're right, there are so many pictures but still I couldn't figure out if what I am planning to buy is authentic trd quickshifter. It is the absence of the shift knob that is making it difficult to tell whether it is trd or not...well, I guess I just have to install it first and feel whether the throw is really shorter than my stock one...I am just wandering if there is a mark or any sign, label or something on the rod which identifies it as trd shifter...

The actual part number is 00602-30301-008

My guess is that there wouldn't be any other manufacturer making the WHOLE quickshifter kit, however, there are other companies making just the shifter itself.

Here is the pic of the shifter I got...can anyone confirm this is a short shifter....
