something tells me you bought the one from the guy in auburn, wa??? i knew a guy with a 5th gen celica st who started a swap but never finished the wiring & sold it.... i know another guy who had a 6th gen ST who finished a swap (unfortunately it was still slower than my ae92 with smallport)......

shouldn't be too tough if you have what you need

Wiring is not, in of itself, difficult. You need to have the right diagrams, plenty of time, patience, and common sense. If you want to attempt it yourself, my advice would be to get the diagrams, take the wire looming off both harnesses, and label every single wire. Once you do that you'll have learned a lot about how your wiring harness works, and you'll have a pretty clear picture of what you have to do next. Hopefully.

Or, you can send both harnesses to me along with $200, and I'll do it for you.

This may be a stupid question and I dont have any experience in swapping engines but why do you need both harnesses? do you map out the old one and apply the mappings to the new harness? If you were to do the harnesses is it just simply plug and play wiring the engine? have you heard of those programmable ecu's do you recommend them?
