AE92 Speaker Installation

Cardomain has the speakers I want for sale right now so it's buying time, but first I want to make sure I know what to do once I get them. Anyone know how to remove/replace the back speakers in an AE92 Sedan? Thanks a ton!

The rear speakers were kind of a pain in the ass to change on my '90. The sun deck panel had been adhered to the base of the rear window because it had come into contact with the window sealant while it was still wet. This made the sundeck impossible to remove without cutting it off of the window. I did not want to cut it for fear of making the window leak, so I had to just position it up out of the way while I changed the speakers. It was tough. If your sundeck has not gotten stuck to the rear window glass sealant, then it should not be too difficult. Just remove the rear seat and a couple of clips and you should be able to get the sundeck out. The speakers are underneath and held in with screws. Good luck. Regards, Aaron

AE92

I got the lower part of the seat out, and now I need to scamper off and find the right device to unscrew the bolts for the upper half. As a bonus I got paid 35 cents for taking out my seat! I'll keep you posted.

edit:
Got the seatback off, and I'm stumped on the sun deck, what do I do with those damned plastic nubbins?

edited edit:
I popped off the plastic thingys on the deck, but my speakers refuse to budge, I can only grab the screws from the bottom, and it's hopeless from the top.
