Serious turbo question

hey i just bought a t25 turbofor my ae101 corolla. in almost immaculate condition(oil cooled, water cooled 0% shaft play, internally wastegated), i cannot find a turbo manifold anywere. is it possible to maybe use the exhaust manifold and maybe decently weld a flange adapter on it to slap the turbo on? let me know please?

Easiest to make a totally new manifold, trying to make one from the stock cast manifold sucks, and its a PITA to do.

http://www.sdsefi.com/tech.html <- that page has good instructions

Depends on many things, mainly upgrade the fuel delivery and lowering the compression with forged pistons.
I dont know how much you'd spend on the manifold, I know I'd probably go and shop for some 10mm flatbar, some 3mm wall thickness bends and T's, some 3mm pipe and weld it myself.

Isn't there a place that sells turbo kits for 7AFE's??? I'm sure they would have a price for a turbo manifold alone.

IIRC, the place is in the states. However, I also forget the name as I no longer care about *A-FE engines. :p

You DO have a downpipe for that thing, right? I know of a guy up here who can make you your flanges. If you want pricing and stuff, I'll try and find his email for you.

There's a place that sells turbo kit for the 7afe for like $2800 But they do not sell individual parts. That's one of the only places that I have found that sells kits for the 7afe
