Help with turbo suggestions and other q's

Hi Everyone

I currently drive an AE92 FWD Corolla, 4AGE, big port, TVIS, 89Kw car and have just bought a 4AGZE with all the bits and pieces included + gearbox.

The GZE I got seems to have the small port head, DLI System and twin coil packs, no TVIS, yellow dip stick, 8.9CR i think, pistons forged and ceramic coated (I think they are right?) and here come the questions.

AIM
I'm after a low - mid boost engine, I'm aiming for about 150Kw (200Hp) at the wheels, looking for usable boost from 2000rpm, strong boost say by 3000rpm, the car gets used as a daily car, need to keep it reliable still.

1. I'm very keen on putting in the Garrett GT25R or the GT28R, not sure which one to use, leaning towards GT28R, seems like it has more potential, worried about where it starts boosting though. Anyone had any experience with these turbos

2. What sort of boost would I require to achieve 200Hp at the wheels?

3. Assuming either the GT25R or the GT28R is used, I'd like to run about 7 PSI daily knowing that I have the capability of safely and reliably boosting up a 14 PSI, possible with these turbo's, I know the GT28R should be okay, but the GT25R?

4. Would this version of the GZE have had a LSD gearbox? How do I tell?

5. The head will definitly be ported and polished, but should I keep standard cams. I read somewhere that it could be better to stick to standard cams to avoid reversion when turbo'ing an engine.

Thanks!

t25 turbo's boost generally at 2000 - 2500 rpm wwhich would be good boost on a 4 cylinder engine and will give you a good boost early in the powerband but not much at really high speeds, from what just about everyone tells me. me i was planning on running about 7 psi boost myself daily, and i think t25 can go up to maybe 12 psi safely(which isn't bad at all, unless you plan on racing). if you have the resources for it. i would suggest a t3 turbo if you have a 4agze to add a turbo to. remember 4agze engines are boost babies already(supercharged) and yes they do come with forged pistons. t25 is a really small turbo and i bought one from a mitsubishi eclipse mainly because i have a 7afe engine and i don't want to boost it too much. good luck with your project tho. the trick us non celica/supra owners run into is finding a turbo manifold. but hey throw me a pm maybe we can share views and such you know, help each other out.
